How to Play LoL Worlds Run

LoL Worlds Run is a roster-draft game. Build a 5-player League of Legends lineup from 2016–2025 history and simulate a World Championship run.

How It Works

  1. Fill 5 roster slots: Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot, Support.
  2. Each round:
    • Spin a year (2016–2025)
    • Spin a region (LCK, LEC, LPL, or LCS)
    • Spin a team from that region/year
  3. Draft one player from the pool.
  4. 1 year reroll and 1 region reroll per round.
  5. Your completed roster is scored and placed into a simulated Worlds bracket.

Roster Score (0–100)

Uses the unified LoL scoring formula (same as MSI Run):

| Stat | Weight | | --- | --- | | Win Rate | 38 | | RFT Rating | 27 | | KDA | 12 | | DPM | 10 | | Kill Participation | 8 | | Gold Diff @ 15 | 5 |

Stats are z-score normalized within each player's region and year so cross-era drafts stay fair.

Worlds Result Tiers

| Score | Result | | --- | --- | | 85+ | Worlds Champion | | 75+ | Finalist | | 70+ | Semi-Finalist | | 65+ | Quarter-Finalist | | 41+ | Swiss Stage (Top 16) | | 21+ | Play-In Stage (Top 24) | | 0+ | Doesn't Qualify |

Stage results are shown on the path with pass/fail for each bracket round.

Strategy

  • Worlds thresholds are stricter than MSI — you need elite stats across the board.
  • Hunt LCK/LPL cores from peak years when rerolling.
  • RFT Rating and Win Rate drive most of the score — do not ignore supportive stats entirely (KP and GD@15 add up).
  • Draft five players who would realistically share the stage — stacking one superteam year can work if roles align.
  • Save region rerolls for when you spin into a thin player pool.
