How To Play ?
LoL Golden Run is the ultimate League of Legends draft challenge. Build one 5-player roster and attempt the Golden Road — winning Regional 1, MSI, Regional 2, and Worlds in a single simulated year.
Only one real team (T1 in 2025) has ever completed this feat in practice. Your job is to draft like them.
| Stage | Rules | | --- | --- | | Regional 1 | Always played. Worlds-style tiers map to regional placement (1st–10th). Top 2 qualifies for MSI. | | MSI | Played only if you qualified from Regional 1. Otherwise DNQ (Did Not Qualify). | | Regional 2 | Always played (same rules as Regional 1). Top 2 qualifies for Worlds. | | Worlds | Played only if you qualified from Regional 2. Otherwise DNQ. |
Regionals use an easier difficulty factor than Worlds (0.7× bar), so domestic dominance is more achievable than the international finals.
Example path: 5th Regional 1 → DNQ MSI → 2nd Regional 2 → 1st Worlds.
| Tier | What it means | | --- | --- | | Golden Run Complete | Won Regional 1 (Top 2), MSI, Regional 2 (Top 2), and Worlds | | Unlucky Misstep | Won both splits + Worlds but missed MSI | | Almost There | Won both splits + MSI but fell short at Worlds | | No International Glory | Dominated domestically, failed internationally | | Not Even Close | Won only one regional at best | | No trophies at all | Empty trophy case |
