How to Play LoL MSI Run

LoL MSI Run is a roster-draft game. Build a 5-player League of Legends lineup from historical splits, then simulate their run at the Mid-Season Invitational.

How It Works

1. Fill 5 roster slots: Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot, Support.
2. Each round uses a 3-stage spin:
   • Spin a year (2016–2025)
   • Spin a region (LCK, LEC, LPL, or LCS)
   • Spin a team from that region and year
3. Draft one player from that team for the current slot.
4. Rerolls — 1 year reroll and 1 region reroll per round.
5. When all 5 slots are filled, your roster is scored and assigned an MSI result tier.

Roster Score (0–100)

Each player is scored from their split stats, normalized against their region/year peers:

The team score is the average of all five players (capped at 100).

The tournament path shows each stage with pass/fail indicators and slight score variance.

Strategy

• LCK players tend to score higher on win rate — but competition within the region is fierce.
• Use region rerolls to escape shallow team pools (for example, a weak LCS year).
• Balance stat lines — a one-dimensional carry is not enough for Champion-tier scores.
• Draft for the slot role you are filling; mismatched roles still score but you want carries in carry slots.
• Year rerolls help you land on known international powerhouse rosters (2018 RNG, 2019 G2, etc.).
